Timberline Glamping Company, formally Georgia Glamping Company, was created in 2018 when Nathan and Rebeka Self recognized the need in their own young family to unplug and comfortably spend more time in the great outdoors.

Rebeka grew up on the west coast, and loved going on traditional camping trips with her family and friends.

GLAMPING WITH US IS SIMPLE. WE COMBINE THE NEED FOR MODERN COMFORT WITH A DESIRE TO BE AS CLOSE TO NATURE AS POSSIBLE.
Nathan has traveled internationally extensively for work and tends to prefer nicer hotels and to be a little more comfortable.

He first saw the Glamping concept on his travels in the UK and came home and told Rebeka all about it and how it would be the perfect compromise for them and their two young daughters, Sydney and Cameron.

Heading back from a beach vacation in 2018, where they encountered very noisy neighbors in the hotel room next door, Nathan and Rebeka started brainstorming on the drive back to Georgia, how to get their own family out into nature, and enjoying the great outdoors much like they did as kids. But without sacrificing luxury, comfort and style of course.

Timberline Glamping was created on that very road trip and by the time they got back to Georgia, the business plan had been formed and the rest is history.

They felt that if their family needed this compromise then there had to be others out there feeling this same way.

What started out as a dream quickly became a passion and full time job of creating unique, one-of-a-kind getaways in nature for their guests.

Rebeka and Nathan truly believe that time spent in the great outdoors with family and friends can create some of life's most meaningful memories.

With life becoming busier and busier, spending time with those we care about is becoming more difficult. Timberline Glamping Company makes it easier for you to spend more time with loved ones in the great outdoors.
